What is EFT? |
|
Based
on the ancient principles of acupuncture, EFT is a simple
tapping procedure that gently realigns the body’s energy system
by using your finger tips,
without the discomfort of needles. Unlike other energy healing
methods, EFT addresses unresolved emotional l issues as a likely
cause of physical disease, and personal performance limits.
EFT is based on
the principle that the cause of ALL negative emotions is a
disruption in the body's energy system.
Properly
applied, EFT quickly realigns the energy meridians with respect
to negative memories, disconnects the physical discomfort that
we attached to it, and quite often remove the resulting
symptoms. EFT is also used in conjunction with other methods for
positive choices and goal achievements.
EFT often works
where other methods have failed and results are often rapid in
comparison to other techniques.
EFT
continues to provide encouraging results. Some cases are more
complex, however, and may require more detailed attention from
an experienced EFT Practitioner.

He was a student of Dr. Roger Callahan's TFT and
devised EFT as a "one stop protocol" that would
cover a multitude of problems by tapping every
point for every problem, rather than to match an
order and sequence of some of the points to
specific problems. Today EFT is called "The
Mother of all Meridian Energy Therapies." |

Around the
world... |
|
Years of working with people and
teaching the technique , Gary Craig now has trained
practitioners and trainers all over the world
spreading awareness of this very effective
technique, making it easily accessible to all.

What is Interesting... |
|
The fact that the methods are simple and so very
effective and gentle maybe the reason why there is such a rapid
spread and development of the Meridian Energy Therapies. In this
age of exploring non intrusive and gentler alternative methods
of healing and empowerment, Meridian Energy Therapies and its
effectiveness is wonderful to be experienced by all.
Experienced Practitioners maximize the effective application of
EFT. |

What is
Energy Psychology? |
|
Energy
Psychology introduction as appears on
http://www.energypsych.org/
(ACEP -
Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology)
"Energy
Psychology is a family of mind/body techniques that are
clinically observed to consistently help with a wide range of
psychological conditions. These interventions address the human
vibrational matrix, which consists of three major interacting
systems:
Energy
pathways (meridians and related acupoints)
Energy
centers (chakras)
Human
biofield (systems of energy that envelop the body)
These techniques
are also helpful in promoting high-level mind-body health and
peak performance in the physical, mental and creative areas of
life."

Founder and developer
of the Callahan Techniques® Thought Field
Therapy |

A graduate of the
University of Michigan, he received his Ph.D. in
clinical psychology from Syracuse University.
Meridian
Energy Therapies (METs) has gained a new identity
and became a separate healing field when US
psychologist, Dr Roger Callahan, began to
understand and use information about the body's energy
system with astonishing success in the early 1980s. He
discovered in 1981, TFT (Thought Field Therapy)™
while he tried to help a woman with a lifelong, severe
and apparently intractable water phobia.
A large part
of METs is still devoted to treating problems such as
fear, phobias, anxieties, motivation problems etc. Known
as "Energy Psychology", this rapidly developing
field is helping re evaluate the reasons of what is
causing emotional disturbances and how to treat these
swiftly, gently and very effectively.
